In this segment, Candy opens the floor for participants to share from their life experiences.  Listen in as participants share real life stories of how the Loving Your Husband material is changing marriages in this final segment of "Laboratory Experiences".  

Week 10: Candy’s Sex Talk

In this segment, Candy talks about sexuality from her life experience and counseling background.  She shoots straight on what sex means to our men -- the nitty gritty of how they view sex and what they really need in this area which often differs greatly from our perspecitve as women.  She reminds us that we do not yet fully know who our men will become but have an important role to play in that process.  Loving our husband sexually is a critical way we cooperate with the Holy Spirit in nurturing and loving our man into who God intends him to be!  In addition, the benefits of loving him this way will undoubtedly return to us many times over.  The invitation to enter more fully into our sexuality is yet another invitation to trust God more deeply -- it is an invitation to greater adventure and intimacy with Him as we learn to yield the throne of our hearts and lives to the God who loves us.

In this segment, Pam brings us back to the Garden and to the shalom for which we were created.  Restored shalom involves greater wholeness, safety & security, openess, and vulnerability this side of Eden and Eternity.  Marriage was created to provide delight, desire, and fulfillment.  In our fallen world, how can we move from disillusionment to desire?  Pam reminds us of the steps we've learned to move towards restoring shalom in our marriages which leads to increased intimacy, both emotionally and sexually.

In this segment, Candy reviews important concepts from the course such as "Who's on the Throne?", Keeping His Cup Full, and Respect.  She also returns to what it means to be a reflective responder, not just one who shoots from the hip.

In this segment, Candy reiterates the two choices we have in regard to our speech – will we react from our sin nature or respond reflectively with God’s help?  She also unpacks “laboratory experiences”.

In this segment, Pam teaches on how to not speak what tears others down.  Pam encourages us to respond from a heart saturated with God so we can bring out the best in others as opposed to reacting from our own self focus.  She also teaches on how to restore God’s reign and rule in our lives when circumstances throw us off kilter and our negative emotions rise to the surface.
